Wishing you a wonderful year ahead of giggles, love, self-acceptance and self-nurturing!
Whilst working out the 2019 workshop series, I wanted to highlight how important it is to really listen to the practice that you personally require. During my years of back rehabilitation, stress related depression, and more recently pregnancy and postnatal recovery; my practice has continued to evolve.
The strength I now require physically has returned to the forefront of my mind as I manage my scoliosis, but also the strength needed to be a mum, mentally and physically.
At the end of a busier and more tiring day, I need nothing more than a Restorative practice or a guided Yoga Nidra, or wonderful opening practice of Yin Yoga.
There have been recent times when I certainly haven’t been looking to endure tricky arm balances , even though my ego has had a good go at wanting me to check if I still ‘could’, I managed to resist, and fully surrender to the practice that was actually needed or required at that time.
This year we are dedicating the 2019 workshops to you – what is it that you really need?
Perhaps your mind cries out for more of a mediation approach to stillness, and to hear that inner voice speak its wisdom, or a morning of dedicating your practice to your aching back, or are you drawn to learn more about the insightful Philosophy of Yoga?
I have spent many years training and qualifying in lots of varying practices, so this year I can give you what you need, when you want it.
