Helen Quin

My journey with yoga started 10 years ago, following two hip replacements in my mid twenties. I needed to do something active that was nurturing for the body however, I discovered so much more than that.

Whilst during my travels through India I decided to take a 200hr teacher training to deepen my practice. Learning about the history and foundations of yoga, I instantly felt at home within its philosophy.

I have travelled a lot over the past few years exploring Asia, Indonesia and New Zealand, including some extended time living in Montenegro and Australia. Last winter I took my studies further at Pyramid Yoga in Koh Phangan, Thailand, for eight weeks of Hatha training focused on the chakras – of which I have a particular interest.

Through personal experience I deeply believe in the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual benefits of yoga, and that this practice is relevant and accessible for everyone.

My training includes to date:
200hr Hatha and Vinyasa at Oceanic Yoga, Goa
100hr Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra, Earth Yoga Village, Goa
500hr Chakra Yoga at Pyramid Yoga, Koh Phangan
50hr Restorative Yoga, Tri Yoga, London

I am also Reiki attuned and currently studying online towards a 50hr RYT in Children’s Yoga with Rainbow Kids and a 50hr CPD course with The Practice, Bali.
