Therapeutic Yoga & Restorative Voice
We invite you to a very special Weekend Immersion, with Katie and Nessi Gomes, at the prestigious La Fregate Hotel, Guernsey.
We will engage in a variety of experiences, designed to release tension, cultivate mindfulness and support overall wellbeing.
During the weekend we will explore therapeutic movement; creating a sense of freedom and space, whist participants can also expect a harmonious blend of passive and active vocal practices, aimed at restoring the nervous system and leaving you feeling more resourced.
Benefits include improved breath control, reduced stress, heightened self-awareness, and a sense of deep relaxation. No previous experience is required for any part of this retreat.
Our retreats are an open and safe space for all participants, from beginners through to the experienced. We have just 21 spaces available, with this stunning boutique hotel all to ourselves, to fully recalibrate and reset.
We will be offering optional treatments, or you may also choose to simply rest and restore in the wonderful hotel grounds, where you will find the time to read or have the space to journal, enjoy sea swims, stunning views, and revitalizing walks, all in the reflective and safe space of this Retreat.

Please note as below;
Fundamentally anyone and everyone can benefit from using sound in a therapeutic way. However, there are certain conditions and circumstances that makes certain forms of sound work inappropriate as detailed below.
* A voice bath is not recommended for pregnant women under 12 weeks, due to the delicate nature of any pregnancy during this first trimester.
* Conditions such as Menieres and Epilepsy, which are sound sensitive, may be triggered by sound; metal implants, pins and screws may be affected by the vibrations; and the rhythm of a pacemaker may also be affected.
* An altered state of consciousness requires a certain amount of mental stability in order to ensure safe practice. Anyone with a serious mental health condition that is experiencing unmanaged symptoms i.e. suicidal, psychosis or diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia are not recommended to partake in the Voice Bath sessions.
